*If a student is pursuing a five-unit sequence in Art, Music, Business, Technology, Family and Consumer Science or Vocational Education, the Second Language requirement is waived.

DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS 

Regents Diploma  requires that students score a minimum of 65% on five Regents Exams: Algebra, Global History, US History and Government, Comprehensive English, and Earth Science

Advanced Regents Diploma requires the successful completion of three additional Regents exams: Geometry, Algebra2, and Living Environment, as well as a local exam in Second Language exam. 

With Honors Designation:

Regents Diploma: Students must have a 90% average on all five Regents exams.

ADV Regents: Students must have a 90% average on eight Regents exams and the local Second Language exam. 

With Distinction: Students must obtain an 85% on ALL Regents exams taken and the local Second Language exam. 

ADV. Regents with Mastery in Math: Students must obtain an 85% on THREE Regents exams in Math (Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra2) 

ADV. Regents with Mastery in Science: Students must obtain an 85% on THREE Regents exams in Science (Earth Science, Living Environment, Chemistry, or Physics)
