Greetings and Welcome

My name is Mrs. France and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.  If there is one thing I have learned in my 21 years of teaching, it is that every year brings new adventures.  I am looking forward to all of the learning adventures we will encounter this year. 

As I mentioned above, I have been teaching here in Wilson for 21 years.  In those 21 years I have taught 5th, 4th and 1st grades.  This will be my 4th year teaching 1st grade, and I must admit, I feel like I have found my home.  Speaking of home, my family and I enjoy living in the district and being part of the Wilson community.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, boating, practicing yoga and cooking.  My most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, both my school family and home family.  As the school year moves along I hope that you all feel apart of our first grade family.
