    Yes - District policy requires all school employees (including substitute employees) to be granted full clearance for employment by the State Education Department. After a successful interview, you will receive information regarding the fingerprint process.

  • How long does it take to become a sub?

    At times, it can take up to a month before you are able to work. Once your application has been received by the Busines Office, you must be interviewed by an administrator, fingerprinted, cleared for work by NYSED, and return all new hire paperwork.

    Substitute Teacher - Uncertified: $100.00 per day

    Substitute Cleaner/Laborer: $14.20 per hour

    Substitute Food Service Helper: $14.20 per hour

    Substitute School Nurse: $20.00 per hour

    Substitute Teacher Aide: $14.20 per hour

    Substitute Typist: $14.20 per hour
